In the Lower School we implement The International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme (IB PYP). The programme is designed to foster the development of the whole child and aims to provide academic excellence, to support physical and emotional needs, to promote cultural understanding and international mindedness.

At the heart of the programme's philosophy is a commitment to structured, purposeful inquiry as the leading vehicle for learning. The curriculum framework consists of five essential elements: concepts, knowledge, skills, attitudes and action. The knowledge component is developed through inquiries into six trans-disciplinary themes of global significance, which engage and appropriately challenge each child.
