The Student Council was initiated as a way to introduce students to the formal meeting process and to develop responsibility, initiative, and leadership skills. The executive committee includes: President, Vice-President, Secretary and Treasurer. They meet on a regular basis and are elected by their peers. Executive committee members may be selected from Grades 8 - 11. The Student Council runs activities such as spirit days, dances and community service events throughout the year.

The Student Council is also expected to act as representatives for the student body. There will be a monthly meeting of the executive committee to discuss student issues.
