Thuringia International School Weimar provides a quality international education in English for all those who seek an extraordinary learning environment addressing the needs of the whole child. In general admission is open to all students including those with little or no English skills, and all who can profit from such an education.

In the event a waiting list becomes necessary, qualified applicants will be admitted on a “first come, first serve” basis, giving due consideration to alternative choices of schools available in the area and the international background of the family.

Priority will also be given to international students who may not be successful in the local German school system, and whose parents are on an international assignment for a limited time.

Priority will be given to students with siblings attending ThIS.
